Coalfire Hosts Students from University of Washington Business School

August 23, 2019

Westminster, CO – August 23, 2019Coalfire, a provider of cybersecurity advisory and assessment services, announced that the company recently hosted 25 students and four faculty members from the University of Washington Foster Business School’s MS in Information Systems program for a day of learning, engagement, and cybersecurity education.

On August 16th, Coalfire leadership provided the students and faculty with an overview of cybersecurity and how Coalfire enables stronger organizational security posture. Following the presentation, the students engaged with a panel of Coalfire personnel from several different practice areas to talk about their experiences with Coalfire. A meet and greet lunch was then held for students to engage with Coalfire team members and ask questions about their experiences in the industry.

The opportunity enabled students to get a feel for a “day in the life” of an employee at a cybersecurity company like Coalfire, further expand ties between Coalfire and the University of Washington and inspire increasing interest in careers in cybersecurity.
