Coalfire Appoints Adam Shnider as Seattle Office Managing Director

Company Veteran to Guide Coalfire’s Expansion in Pacific Northwest

Louisville, Colo. (October 5, 2011) – Coalfire announced today that Adam Shnider has been appointed as the managing director of the Seattle office.

“Adam is a well-known and highly regarded security professional in the region,” said Rick Dakin, CEO and chief security strategist of Coalfire. “The northwest is home to some of the most innovative and influential companies in the country. Adam joined Coalfire in 2009 as a senior security auditor and helped to expand the regional client-base and reputation for Coalfire. He has worked with more than 100 well-known clients over the past 10 years, including Microsoft, Boeing, and other national retail brands in the region on IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) projects. He is active in the Seattle’s ISACA and ISSA organizations and is an expert in managing compliance across of number of industries, including retail, financial services and healthcare.
