Robert Flores Named Vice President of IT

Brings three decades of experience in technology and telecommunications to the Coalfire team

Coalfire welcomes Robert Flores as the newest addition to the cybersecurity risk management and compliance service leader’s leadership team as its Vice President of Information Technology.
Flores has a proven track record of driving strategy for high-growth IT companies while managing billion-dollar global programs and teams across the telecommunications, professional services and SaaS sectors in the United States and abroad.

“Robert Flores possesses a unique background and skill set that differentiates him from his peers,” said Coalfire chairman and CEO Larry Jones. “His history with high-growth companies and ability to meet increasing IT and operational demands while driving more meaningful customer relationships mirrors Coalfire’s mission.”

Prior to joining Coalfire, Flores served as a Senior Director of IT at Trimble Navigation Inc., where he was responsible for leading development operations, systems engineering and architecture, network engineering and customer care teams. This followed Flores’ tenure at Global Insight LLC as Principal Consultant and Founder, leading growth in domestic and international markets for providers of geospatial data and solutions. Flores has also held positions at Digital Globe, Global Healthcare Exchange, BTT Solutions, Nortel Networks and AT&T.

A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Flores is also author to “A Practical Guide to Organizational Development and Operational Effectiveness” and has written extensively on the topics of operations, customer engagement and experience, product development and business development.
