Adds Cybersecurity Risk Management Experience to the CSA
Westminster, Colo. – February 25, 2016 – Coalfire, a leader in cybersecurity risk management and compliance services, today announced that it has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment.
Coalfire has extensive experience advising and assessing cloud services providers, solution developers and end-users who have moved their businesses to the cloud, helping them to better understand and manage their risks by providing comprehensive assessment, testing and compliance-related services.
“We’re excited to join the CSA and participate in the organization’s initiatives, starting with our involvement with the CSA Summit, held at the RSA Conference this year,” said Larry Jones, CEO of Coalfire. “Like the CSA, we’re committed to helping secure cloud environments and helping both cloud service providers and their customers understand their cybersecurity risks and compliance needs.”
Coalfire provides clients with services ranging from application validation, to red team penetration testing to the development of customized cybersecurity management programs. The company’s cyber risk assessment services and scorecard programs also help organizations navigate their progress toward meeting industry and government mandates, including prioritizing cyber risk in the cloud and compliance efforts such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27018, and FedRAMP that directly affect their business.
